Your wedding day is unique to you. It will be one of the most memorable days of your life. As your wedding photographer I will carry out your wedding photography with the greatest care and apply the same importance as you give to your special day.
I will capture the story of your wedding and create a beautiful visual record. Beautiful memories of your wedding day are something to keep and treasure for the rest of your lives. As your wedding photographer my aim is to focus on helping you enjoy your photography and with my expertise I will capture those incredible images you desire.
My style is a blend of documentary photography and beautifully crafted classical and elegant portraits. As a documentary photographer I will capture all those wonderful fleeting moments evocative of the joy and emotion of your day; I will document the day in a natural and unobtrusive way. As a portrait photographer I will create a selection of lifestyle images for your bespoke designed wedding album.
For the more formal coverage of the day, at your request, I will organise any number of group shots with your family and friends.
And above all, I never lose sight of the fact that it is your wedding day and I will be there for you to record your love story.

Developing a relationship is important in achieving that trust on your wedding day. Trust will result in a seamless marriage between photographer and client. You and your guests can relax resulting in natural, spontaneous images that capture the story of your day. My job is to be a part of your wedding without intrusion or interruption to the flow of your day. Creating a complete record of the day’s events as they unfold. My latest commission for wedding photography at The Old Mill in Aldermaston was that of Rebecca & Christopher a fabulous couple who were a joy to be with. Their wedding guests, family and friends enjoyed a wonderful day despite the brief thunderstorm half way through the afternoon. The ceremony was held in the Stable Room, with the afternoon drinks reception being held in the beautiful grounds. Later in the afternoon we shot some great bride and groom portraits before sitting down to a sumptuous wedding breakfast and partying on into the night.

The love between two people will always be a captivating experience and what better way to express their love for each other, than to enjoy a relaxing photo shoot.
I shoot all my free Pre wedding engagement photography at the couples chosen wedding venue. And it is a great opportunity to give the bride and groom time to gain confidence in front of camera. It is also a good time to discuss the type of lifestyle wedding day pictures we are going to achieve on the actual wedding day.
I met Rebecca & Christopher at their wedding venue, the Old Mill at Aldermaston. The Old Mill is an idyllic and romantic setting by the River Kennet in Berkshire. The Mill offers full exclusivity for the whole day from the ceremony through to the evening celebration.
At the wedding venue we discussed a selection of posses and then walked around the grounds stopping at various locations capturing a great set of some 20 to 30 different images for use in the Photographic guest book.
I always meet my clients four weeks before the wedding to allow for time to create either the framed signing board or photographic guest book the couple have chosen as part of their wedding photography package. The framed signing board and the guest book are both fabulous products to have on display at the wedding reception. Their purpose is to enable the guests to add their written congratulations to the happy couple during or after the wedding breakfast.

Fabulous wedding photography captured at Audleys Wood hotel Basingstoke. Audleys Wood is a magnificent Victorian mansion, furnished with antiques and hung with paintings, the warm characterful décor complements the elaborate carvings, ornate stonework and beautiful stained glass. It is hard to imagine a more romantic wedding venue in Hampshire. Originally built as a Basingstoke hunting lodge, is now the country retreat you have always imagined, offering exclusive use. The new garden pavilion provides the perfect accompaniment to a Civil Ceremony in Hampshire. Enabling you and your partner to enjoy your wedding breakfast in this self contained facility.
As a wedding photographer, Basingstoke Hampshire. It is only a short journey for me to one of the best venues in Basingstoke. Starting in the wonderful bridal suite with Laura and Julie making their final preparations with some fun and relaxed photographs before meeting Peter and the grooms men for some great images in the gardens. Proceeding onto the magnificent conservatory room for the civil ceremony and the sun lit the room with a wonderful warm glow. Photographing the exchange of rings and two readings by friends of the bride and groom before going out into the gardens for photographs of family and friends. I then took Laura & Peter away from the crowds for some beautiful portraits of this wonderful couple. Continuing on through the afternoon and into the night and capturing the speeches and first dance. What a great day!!

Northbrook Park Wedding Photography. Northbrook Park is a delightful wedding venue situated in the heart of the Surrey countryside close to Farnham. Extensive country gardens and quintessentially English walled gardens make a romantic setting for your wedding photography. For any couple that are having a civil wedding ceremony at Northbrook Park, then the Vine Room is beautifully appointed with dramatic floor to ceiling windows that allow the light to flood into the room. As a wedding photographer this is an essential asset, glorious and plentiful light. The two court yards are ideal for those romantic bride and groom portraits that are a must for the couple’s wedding album.
Following the ceremony, reception drinks and our distinctive style of documentary wedding photography, it is time for the wedding breakfast. Photographic coverage of all the detailed table arrangements and guests having a ball, the speeches and the first dance are all part of our photographic coverage for your wedding day. At a recent wedding I photographed at Northbrook the wedding breakfast took place in the Orangery with its covered glass roof, flagstone and hardwood flooring all add to a wonderful warm feeling as a winter venue and the numerous glass doors open onto the large walled garden, ideal for a summer occasion.

Wedding Album Design
Wedding Album Design
A wedding photographer’s day is not just about being there on the day of the wedding doing the shoot. It’s also about three or four days preparing the images for print. And a further day or so designing the layout of the wedding album. After a long and wonderfully enriching day at a wedding and capturing a thousand or so images the editing and selection process is an art in its own right. Being creative on the day with composition and lighting is now enhanced with the use of software. For me the design layout of a large wedding album is an exciting prospect. Selecting images that complement each other side by side on a page or an opposing page is all about balance and visual dexterity. Will a black and white image work next to two or three colour images on the same page? Sometimes yes sometimes not. Also the bride and groom usually have a colour theme for their wedding and this themed colour or vintage themed wedding backdrop can be used to stir the evocative memory of the day by inlaying the colours in the background of the layout. This recent design illustrates an A3 landscape format recently completed for a client.
